Gather is volunteer and event coordination software operated by The GrowthWorks Collective. What this is not: This is not a health system. It is not covered by HIPAA. Do not enter health information, diagnoses, treatment details, or anything about anyone's care here. There is nowhere in this tool for that information to go, and it does not belong here. This platform does not run background checks and does not do child-safety screening. Any screening your event requires is yours to run, outside this tool. What we hold about you: Your name, email, phone, city, and anything you choose to write about what you are good at. If you tell us you are under 18 we also require a guardian name and phone. Which events you joined and which shifts you claimed. Who can see it: The organizers of an event you joined can see your contact details and your shifts, because they have to run the event. Other volunteers cannot see who else signed up for a shift. The public can see how many spots are filled, never who filled them. You can ask an organizer to remove you from an event at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account.
